“Fit for the Future” Breakfast

Woman preparing to run_maridav_lowres_xxl

Please join me and other Local Government executives at this breakfast discussion at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park on Friday 8 May 2015 from 7:45am to 9:20am. Thrive Plus is hosting this breakfast to enable NSW Councils to learn from the WA reform experience.

Thrive Plus partner and owner of Learning Horizons – Helen Hardcastle – will be in Sydney, visiting from WA. She is one of the leading LG specialists in WA and has been involved with many WA Councils during their preparations for amalgamations and structural changes over the last two years. Helen was also an advisor to the departmental committee that set up the reform process. Although the WA process has essentially been halted, there are many valuable learnings for NSW Councils.

We have seized the opportunity of her presence and will be hosting an informal breakfast and Q&A session. We have invited LG Executives in NSW to join and take the opportunity to ask any questions about the WA experience. The agenda will be as follows:

  • 7:45am                 Arrival and introductions
  • 8:00am                 Overview of the WA experience (Helen Hardcastle)
  • 8:30am                 Breakfast, discussion and Q&A
  • 9:00am                 Networking
  • 9:20am                 Close

We still have a handful of places available. If you are interested in attending this event, please email or contact me directly for more information by emailing
